My favorite type of burger!
1 lb. ground beef
8 pineapple slices
1/2 c. teriyaki sauce, divided
4 lettuce leaves
4 slices swiss cheese
4 hamburger buns
Place pineapple and 3 T. teriyaki sauce in a resealable plastic bag; turn to coat and set aside to marinate.
Shape beef into four patties. Place in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour remaining teriyaki sauce over patties; marinate for 15 minutes, turning once.
Grill or broil burgers until no longer pink. Grill or broil pineapple to heat through.
Put lettuce on bun bottom. Top with pineapple, burger, cheese, and pineapple again, drizzle with more teriyaki sauce if desired; top with bun tops.
My niece and I are obsessed with the teriyaki sauce, so we put some on our plate to dip the (assembled) burger in. :)
